Doug Stanhope Net Worth $1.5 Million
Doug Stanhope was raised in his hometown of Worcester, and as a child he spent his time divided between mother and father, as they were divorced. After elementary school, he attended a high school, but according to sources he dropped out, and moved to Las Vegas, where he began pursuing his career as a stand-up comedian.
So, Doug`s career officially began in the early 1990s, earning a name for himself little by little while appearing in numerous comedy festivals throughout the USA. His first victory came in 1995 at the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, however, his career stagnated for a while, but Doug was back on track at the beginning of the 2000s, appearing in the Comedy Central documentary entitled “Comedy Central Presents” in 2001. Two years later, he became the co-host of the highly popular TV program “The Man Show” (2003-2004). The following year he switched his focus to radio, hosting his own show on SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and in addition he hosted the “Girls Gone Wild: America Uncovered” the same year.
Doug`s next successful venture was a touring group, “The Unbookables”, consisting of comedians such as James Inman, Brandon Walsh, and Andy Andrist, among others. They released a CD entitled “Morbid Obscenity” in 2006, with the addition of Lynn Shawcroft and Banjo Randy. His career just began to progress, but he had already made a name for himself, and in 2007 he made a documentary entitled “No Redunds”, which only added further to his net worth.
To speak further of his accomplishments, Doug has released several successful comedy albums, including “From Across The Street” (2009) “Oslo: Burning The Bridge To Nowhere” (2011), “Before Turning the Gun on Himself” (2012), and “Beer Hall Putsch” (2013), among others, all of which have added to his net worth.
Doug has also authored and published a book, entitled “Fun with Pedophiles: The Best of Baiting” in 2006, which also added to the overall size of his net worth. When it comes to speak about Doug Stanhope’s personal life, he has been married to Renee Morrison since 2002, and is rumoured to have had a marriage previous to that. His current residence is in the small US-Mexico border town of Bisbee, Arizona.
